Arts and Creativity
When learning is based on expression, celebration and diversity, we learn by playing and exploring freely. We use these methods to build self-esteem, happiness, creativity and critical thinking for the children and communities we work with.

At Casagua, we use music, art and theatre as tools to develop imagination and creativity, as well as fun ways to learn about culture and history.
The arts develop our social-emotional skills and our ability to express ourselves, communicate, and feel in community. Music is the universal language that allows us to connect through song, sound and rhythm.

Painting, drawing and reading are strategies to manage stress and anxiety, especially in a post-pandemic world in which traditional ways of learning have already been changed and outdated. In a space of freedom, with art and expression, children feel willing to get involved and participate, increasing their confidence and self-assurance as well as their ability to express themselves and speak in public.

With the help of volunteers who are experts in art and music, we seek to create a space of freedom and expression where all children are welcomed and celebrated in all their diversity.
